What makes a leather choker work?

Fit and hardware. A leather choker should sit snug enough to hold its shape without pressing, and the metal should match the rest of your stack, silver and gunmetal with most alt looks, avoid mixing in gold unless it is deliberate. A plain band reads minimal punk; add spikes, a padlock or a chain and it turns the whole outfit.
